Debut album Flashbacks released by Peach on a beach

 

My debut album Flashbacks under artist name Peach on a beach is now available online on all major streaming platforms.

Super pumped and proud to share my debut record with you, a whimsical tribute to growing up as a teen during the 80s in the suburbs of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

I invite you to listen to my third single "Before Call Display".

The song is inspired from an epic prank phone call session I orchestrated with my brother during our early teens circa 1984. One day after school while our mom was working, we called ~ 10 taxicabs, pizza shops, Chinese take-outs and a bottle exchange, then watched them all arrive across the street at the neighbour's house. The official video for my second single "Pizza Corner" was released on Friday, February 24, 2023. The song is a hip-hop tribute to all the blurry late nights I spent at the iconic downtown Halifax landmark during the 1990s.

The playful lyrics recall how we gravitated to “Pizza Corner” during the 1990s to grab a pepperoni slice or a super donair, to people watch, and compare notes after a night on the town. 

The intended market is primarily Gen Xers, but also other generations who spent copious amounts of time downtown during the heyday of Pizza Corner.

On January 14, 2023, "Beeping and Bleeping" was voted #1 song on the CIOE East Coast top 30 countdown!

So very grateful for all your support and votes from coast to coast these last 11 weeks. Reaching #1 is certainly a dream come true!

"Beeping and Bleeping” is a hip-hop track about my experience as a young teen playing arcade video games. The lyrics recall the iconic early 80s games, and the nostalgic vibe of the song naturally led to making a video.
